Terms of Use
The plain terms.
Effective 9 October 2026
RackHut is made and published by Jamie McKaye (“we”). By installing or using RackHut on iPhone or Android you agree to these terms. The App Store's and Google Play's own terms apply to the download and to any purchase as well.
Using RackHut
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use RackHut on devices you own. Don't copy, sell, rent or reverse-engineer the app, and don't use it to break the law or anyone else's rights.
Your records are yours
Everything you put into RackHut stays on your device (and, on iPhone, in your own iCloud if you turn backups on). Keeping a backup or an export is your responsibility; the app offers both, free, at any time. We have no copy of your data and cannot recover it for you.
RackHut Pro
RackHut Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. The price is shown in the store before you buy. A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account at least 24 hours before the period ends; a free trial, where one is offered, becomes a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then. The lifetime purchase is one payment for the Pro features for as long as RackHut is available. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.
Not advice
RackHut works out figures from the records you enter. It is a record-keeper, not a tax adviser, accountant or lawyer. Whether and how you report to HMRC or any other authority is your responsibility; check with a qualified person if you are unsure.
Not Vinted
RackHut is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed or operated by Vinted, it never connects to your Vinted account and it never asks for your Vinted password.
What we promise, and what we don't
We work hard to make RackHut accurate and reliable, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for RackHut Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may change RackHut or these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its effective date. You can stop using RackHut at any time by deleting it; your data goes with it, so export first if you want to keep it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
