RackHut

Privacy

Effective 31 August 2026

RackHut is built local-first. The short version: your data stays yours — on your phone and in your own iCloud. We don't want it, and we've built the app so we can't see it.

No account, no server

RackHut has no sign-up and runs no servers of its own. Your items, photos, sales, prices, places and tax figures are stored on your device. Nothing you put into RackHut is sent to us.

Your backup is your iCloud

If you turn backups on, RackHut saves them to your own iCloud Drive, in your Apple account, protected by Apple. We have no access to it. Turn it off any time; you can also export everything to a file whenever you like.

No tracking, no analytics, no ads

RackHut contains no advertising, no analytics and no trackers. We collect no usage data, no identifiers and no personal information. The App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected" because that is the truth.

Purchases

RackHut Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. Your purchase is tied to your Apple account and restores on any of your devices.

Sharing from other apps

When you share a listing into RackHut, the shared link is handled entirely on your device. RackHut never contacts the marketplace and never asks for marketplace credentials.

Support

If you email support@rackhut.app, we'll use your email address to reply, and for nothing else.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Since RackHut collects nothing, changes are unlikely to be exciting.
